Bhutan
The Kingdom of Bhutan is a sovereign nation, located towards the eastern extreme of the Himalayas mountain range.It is present between two nations: first, the People's Republic of China and .Bhutan borders China to the north and India to the south, east and west. Bhutan is a very compact nation, but with just a small bit more length than width. The nation's territory totals an approximate 46,500 square kilometres.Bhutan's climate varies widely depending upon elevation. In the southern region it is tropical, with a monsoon season and eastern part is warmer than the west.Bhutan's first national elections in March 2008 marked the country's shift from an absolute monarchy to a constitutional monarchy.

Kings of Bhutan (1907–present)

Ugyen Wangchuk was the first King of Bhutan, from 1907 to 1926.

As part of his vision for scholarship and education of young Bhutanese, he sent two groups of Bhutanese to study up to geshey level in Tibet.
 Swayambhunath Temple in Kathmandu, was renovated by King Ugyen Wangchuck’s personal funds.
 Wangchuck was visit Kolkata and Delhi, with the aim to establish schools.
The first school were established in Lame Goenpa and Wangdicholing, with 14 Bhutanese boys.

Jigme  Wangchuk was the 2nd  King of Bhutan

Jigme Singye Wangchuck was the 4th   King of Bhutan

Jigme Singye launched the Tashigang and Tsirang Intensive Valley Development Projects in 1972.
These projects were part of a larger vision of food self-sufficiency and income generation.
large-scale production in Khaling and Chapcha, potatoes become a key export crop, reaching 60,000 MT (metric tons), grown by over 10,725 households by 2006.
There were 13,410 students enrolled in schools compared to 151,260 or so in 2006. By 2006, school enrolment touched 90%, literacy 60%, and both were so mainly due to a free education policy.
Jigme Dorji National Park, Khaling Wildlife Sanctuary and Phibsoo Wildlife Sanctuary declared in 1974.
Environmental Studies started in schools, 1985 Bhutan identified as a global hotspot, 1988 High Level Visitors to Bhutan.



Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck is the 5th and current reigning Druk Gyalpo or "Dragon King" of the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Jigme Khesar Namgye lstated that the responsibility of this generation of Bhutanese was to ensure the success of democracy.
 King go to various colleges and schools in Bhutan, India, Thailand, The Philippines, Singapore, Japan and Europe for giving Several educational scholarships.
